SEISMIC MITIGATION EFFICIENCY STUDY OF THE COUPLING BEAM DAMPER IN THE SHEAR WALL STRUCTURE

 Coupling beam damper can be easily repaired in the post-earthquake, which dissipate seismic energy of structure earthquake action. In this paper, mitigation efficiency coupling shear wall is analysed by using fast nonlinear analysis method. Meanwhile, effect layout location and number dampers on are studied. Finally, performance parameter also analysed. The results indicate that: story force drift angle effectively decreased because damper, maximum amplification base reach up to 16.7% 8.8% respectively. Relating force, with obvious. installed upper part more economical, deformation structural mainly concentrated structure. To ensure economic reasonable should determinate according dynamic response above research work provide guidance for design structure.
